People need to earn a GED® for a lot of reasons, and we know yours is very important. Our classes are designed to meet your needs, and our instruction will be focused where you know you need help. Our classes are interactive, utilize technology, and are offered at our campuses and community partner sites to provide you access no matter where you live.
For individuals seeking entry into the radiologic sciences profession, we offer an entry-level bachelor of science degree with special emphasis leading to certification in one of five career specialties. No previous background in the radiologic sciences is required to enter any of these programs. Graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification examination in their specific area of specialty (see Certification section below for additional details). All students in the department will do some level of online coursework. Typically, students in entry-level tracks take five to ten online courses over the five semesters
With a degree in Respiratory Therapy, you will be ready to treat patients with heart and lung illnesses, as well as those with breathing difficulties. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (COARC), our Bachelor of Science program will assist you in becoming involved in the treatment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and home care of patients with acute or chronic disease affecting the lung or cardiovascular system. As a graduate, you will be eligible for credentialing exams administered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).

We will enable you to demonstrate supportive and engaging practices in the classroom that positively affect young learners. For this Bachelor of Science in Education program, we offer you a noncertfication track in Child and Family Studies or the certification track, which leads to T-4 licensure for teaching preschool through fifth grade.
Middle Grades Education program will prepare you in teaching these adolescent learners effectively and successfully in any two of the following areas: mathematics, social sciences, language arts, and science. You will come to learn pedagogical theories and practices to help confront and address issues in elementary or middle schools. By pursuing this Bachelor of Science degree, you will come to enhance your knowledge in evaluating, planning, and providing research-based effective learning experiences to all students in fourth through eighth grade.

The nursing program of study is designed to prepare graduates with entry level nursing practice knowledge and skills upon which professional careers and additional study can be built. The baccalaureate nursing program emphasizes professional nursing practice and leadership skills.
This degree provides a broad preparation in science and research, with an emphasis on physiology and rehabilitation. Electives can be selected that will enable the graduate to earn any of several academic minors or credentials, such as neuroscience, psychology, or gerontology. The Rehabilitation Science degree has also “been specifically designed by the physical therapy faculty to meet the needs of students” who wish to pursue graduate education in “the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy or sports medicine.”

Radiation Therapists deliver daily radiation treatments to cancer patients to ensure the treatments are accurately and safely administered. Radiation therapists must possess strong communication skills, be detail oriented, be able to work with all members of the oncology team and be comfortable using state-of-the-art technology.
Designed for those with an undergraduate degree in an approved field (English, History, Mathematics, or Science), our Master of Arts in Teaching program offers you an advanced graduate degree in teaching methodology for secondary learners, along with a route to secure your initial teaching certification at the T-5 level. You will become familiarized with adolescent development, the social context of schooling, and accommodation to diverse learning challenges in middle or high schools.

The PCT program prepares Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to advance their career in the health care industry. The Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of nursing or medical staff to provide basic patient care, including recording vital signs, EKG and phlebotomy procedures in a variety of healthcare environments. This program consists of classroom/lab instruction and supervised/preceptor externship experience. The externship portion of training is conducted off campus at a medical facility or a clinic where theoretical and practical skills are integrated. The externship program provides an opportunity for the student to observe, assist, learn and perform patient care services.

This course is available to current CDL Licensed drivers wishing to refresh their skills. Class will cover pre-trip inspection, shifting techniques, left and right turns, backing in straight lines, backing in curved lines, parallel parking, alley docking, offset backing, coupling and uncoupling trailers, lane control, city driving, rural driving and interstate driving. An introduction to Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) requirements will also be covered.
