This Culinary Arts program offers practical training that follows the guidelines of the American Culinary Federation. You’ll have the opportunity to learn fundamental, intermediate, and advanced culinary skills — and find out how to make a living doing what you love. Plus, unlike some culinary arts colleges, you’ll be working in the kitchen on day one!
This program is designed to prepare graduates to pursue employment as multi-skilled medical assistants who work with and under the direction of a physician in either or both the clinical and administrative aspects of the physician’s office or other medical setting. This program focuses on clinical techniques including examining room procedures, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, performing routine laboratory procedures, sterilizing and maintaining equipment, and the proper techniques for administering medications/immunizations as directed by the physician and in accordance with State practice acts, combined with administrative functions and duties. Before graduation from the program, students complete an externship in a physician’s office, clinic, or other healthcare facility under the supervision of a physician, nurse, or health services professional.

Professionalism is an important part of the curriculum, too; you will learn the importance of punctuality, dress code, professional etiquette and other skill sets necessary to be an effective professional.
The Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) Technical Certificate of Credit prepares students for entry-level employment in a manufacturing environment. Topics include organization principles, workplace skills, manufacturing production, automated manufacturing skills, and representative manufacturing skills.
The Basic Law Enforcement Certificate program provides students with the necessary skills, standards, and knowledge in order to become qualified, proficiency trained, ethical and competent peace officers in criminal justice careers. Successful completion of the program enables the student to become eligible to be certified by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards Training Council (P.O.S.T.) as a Georgia Peace Officer.
Aircraft structural technicians build new equipment and conduct repairs. Manufacturing work is based on customer orders in a team assembly environment. Repair work is typically paid hourly and on an as needed basis but training is needed for all types of aircraft (old and new) and is dependent on customers needing repairs.

Students obtaining an Accounting Associates Degree will be able to enter the work force as accounting paraprofessionals with the skills necessary to handle financial accounting tasks such as maintaining a set of books for business entities, account classifications, subsidiary record accounting, fixed and intangible assets, current and long-term liabilities, partnerships, corporations and long-term liabilities. They will also be able to handle managerial accounting tasks such as financial statement analysis, job costing, cost behavior and cost-volume-profit analysis budgets, capital investment analysis; accounting for payroll, using computerized accounting systems, using spreadsheet for accounting applications, and income tax preparation.
