Workers east and west say CAT doesn’t serve their needs

James Bostic’s feet don’t move as fast as a Chatham Area Transit bus, but they are more effective for him.

When his car broke down a couple of weeks ago, he had one option: hoof it 10 miles from his house near downtown Savannah to his job at the IKEA warehouse near the intersection of Interstate 95 and Ga. 21.

That meant starting his day at 1 a.m.
