State getting tougher on day cares

New beefed-up rules are about to go into place to make sure Georgia does a better job of taking care of children who go to day care.

Officials with Bright from the Start, the agency that enforces those rules, hope they will improve Georgia’s less-than-stellar national ranking when it comes to regulating commercial and home-based day care.
