Pamela Ogelsby is the Vice President of the West Savannah Community Organization and she knows what it’s like to live in poverty. “I’m a disabled person and a disability check is not going to allow me to buy a house,” said Ogelsby.   Now Oglesby is working to help other people learn to get help the way she did.

Step will be having its Annual Meeting June 3rd, 9 a.m.- noon in the large auditorium of the Jewish Educational Alliance Center (JEA) on Abercorn Street near DeRenne Ave. 

This meeting will serve as an opportunity for the Action Teams to update one another on accomplishments and challenges. The Annual Meeting will also focus on establishing priorites for 2008-2009.
